Castaldo VLT Very Low Temperature Silicone Jewelry Molding Rubber is engineered for rapid and direct mold making from CAD/CAM and resin models, vulcanizing at temperatures as low as 71°C (160°F). This makes it ideal for delicate or temperature-sensitive patterns, enabling production molds to be created in as little as 30 minutes.
The compound produces exceptionally detailed wax injections with a shiny surface requiring minimal post-processing. Molds made from VLT rubber are easy to pack, cut, and handle, while its very low shrinkage (0.1%) ensures precise results. Designed for both modern rapid prototyping and traditional wax carving, it combines high tear resistance and long-term durability.
